I was out very early one morning after it had rained and I noticed the way the light reflected on the lingering wetness on this small pier out over the Bay. There was still a lot of moisture in the air and the lights all seemed to have misty halos.

In my photography I strive to see with the eyes of my heart. I love Nature and all her wild places, Her textures and designs and Her creatures. I believe that Nature is a healing force and a refuge from the chaos of daily life. When we are quiet and listen, we can find peace and discover our own inner voice of wisdom. I hope I can help you find that place within yourself through my photography. I have been honored to receive numerous awards for my photography. I was the Grand Prize winner in the 2012 Audubon contest and my winning photo was published on the cover of Audubon Magazine.
