Late in the day shafts of sunlight illuminate parts of El Capitan rock formation in this Gates of the Valley view. Rounded rocks covered with golden grass are in the foreground in the still water of the Merced River. Bridalveil Fall is clearly seen above a light mist on the valley floor.

In my photography I strive to see with the eyes of my heart. I love Nature and all her wild places, Her textures and designs and Her creatures. I believe that Nature is a healing force and a refuge from the chaos of daily life. When we are quiet and listen, we can find peace and discover our own inner voice of wisdom.
